Spring is here and in the studio, free creation is currently underway and a web shop is under construction.

Above are a couple of examples of line art that will be available in store. Giclée prints on Hahnemüle German Etching in limited edition with numbering and signature, delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

The freedom to create gives me a change from the strategic design work with concepts and brands. A forum to experiment, with the opportunity to practice the craft without the constraints of goals and purpose. Switching between consulting work and free creation gives me the balance I need. It fosters creativity, playfulness and fun – which are necessary parts of any work.

I have always been involved in free creation. But now that I’ve gone from agency to freelance at the turn of the year, I’ve been given more space to manage my own time and focus on “mine” instead of “ours”. With that comes the opportunity to make this part of artistic creation, which was previously mostly private, part of the business.

My expression varies and I have no niche or style. This is so that the creation can remain developing and enjoyable. Undemanding experimentation and exploration across boundaries of style, subject and media is the primary purpose of the project. The works do not have a larger purpose or message, it is the craftsmanship in focus where color and shape are just for the eye.
